Upon arriving at Halfaampieskraal you immediately start to unwind, breathe slower, experience a sense of euphoria. I have always wanted to go there as I've heard from many how exquisite it is and now I can totally vouch for it.
Once you are settled in your gorgeous room you're ushered to the main house where you get lost between books, beautiful ornaments and a lush garden. The food is another showstopper, and one thing is for sure that you won't leave hungry.
Halfaampieskraal is truly a gem and you need to add it to your wish list for weekend (or weekday getaways) and it's only a two hour drive from Cape Town.
